City Council directed staff to begin the process of completing a new park system master plan to plan for the future of the park system. A Request for Proposals was released earlier this year and four proposals received. A team of staff from parks, planning and engineering departments conducted an initial review of the proposals and brought forth two consultants to conduct interviews with the city council advisory committee.

The advisory committee interviewed the two firms and, by consensus, recommends Confluence as the preferred consultant. Confluence comes with a wealth of experience and expertise in conducting strategic park plans and brought forth a strategic and innovative approach to engage the larger community. 

Upon contract award, Confluence is ready to begin work immediately The process is expected to take six to nine months to complete.
