The VFW has applied for a temporary liquor license for the River Valley Festival being held in Huber Park on August 11, 2018. The VFW will be serving on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Participants at the festival will be carded and be given a wristband to purchase alcohol. A map is attached showing the different event locations.
They are also applying for a one day premise permit for gambling activities at Huber Park, 150 Fillmore Street North. The permit will be issued by the State Gambling Control Board. When application is made, the board requires the local unit of government pass a resolution specifically approving or denying the application.
