From time to time, the City is asked to issue a proclamation. The past practice has been for staff to prepare and the Mayor to sign. The policy attached creates clear parameters for the issuance of such proclamations.
Typically proclamations are issued for events, business openings or to recognize non-controversial subjects and observances. | | |
