In October, the city advertised for volunteers that would be interested in filling the vacancy on the Shakopee Public Utilities Commissions (SPUC). The city received two applications. On November 27, the interview panel consisting of Mayor William Mars, Councilmember Kathi Mocol and the Vice Chair of the Shakopee Public Utilities Commission Terry Joos interviewed one applicant. The second applicant did not show up. After reviewing the qualifications, the interview committee is recommending Steve Clay to fill the remaining term of the vacancy that expires February 28, 2020. | | |
