Staff, wishing to limit the amount of resources needed to publish the revised sign ordinance, are proposing to publish a summary of the updated ordinance rather than publishing the entire 14 page document and to provide the option for residents or businesses to review the entire revision on their own. The full code update totals 14 pages, this summary will reduce the document to the ten main changes from the previous sign ordinance to the revised ordinance, which will fit on a single page. Information is also included for someone who wishes to review the full text so they may do so. In addition to the resources outlined with the summary, the entire city code is posted online for anyone to view and is updated as the code is amended.

The summary for the sign ordinance revision will be published so that city residents and businesses are aware that the code has changed and to provide information for those interested to find and read through the full revisions if they wish to inquire about new requirements for future signage.
