Staff recommends council approves the request of the yearly purchase of new devices for employee computers that have reached the end of warranty and standard 4-year replacement cycle. | | |

Computer replacements are on a 4-year schedule and are tracked within our inventory system. New computers are purchased every 4 years to match industry standards and to match the warranty cycle of the purchased devices. New devices help reduce user downtime, expand our capacity, and improve efficiency of staff positively impacting customer support levels. | | |

New computer and replacement purchases are paid through the IT Fund and are budgeted each year through the CIP process according to the number of expected replacements. The purchase prices within this quote of $42,350.96 are set through the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance (IPA) contract.
