| | | | | | | | Discussion:
Canterbury Development, LLC has made application for approval of the Preliminary Plat of Canterbury Park 9th Addition. The subject property is approximately 27.3 acres, and is located located north of Eagle Creek Blvd., South of Shenandoah Drive and West of Vierling Drive @ 12th Avenue East.
Attached to this report is the applicant’s concept plan for this development, which conceptually shows development of two commercial lots. Additional commercial and residential development would be considered in future plat applications. The project also includes the dedication of new public right-of-way (Schenian Street) that would run approx. thru the middle of the plat, connecting Eagle Creek Blvd. and Shenandoah Drive. The Planning Commission will consider the preliminary plat and forward a recommendation to the City Council, who will take action on both the preliminary and final plat application. The property owner will need to submit a Planned Unit Development application for approval of specific uses within this plat. A draft resolution is attached for the Commission’s consideration.
Several review agencies (City Engineering, SPUC, and CenterPoint Energy have provided comments, which have been incorporated into the draft resolution.
