Offer and pass a motion recommending City Council approval of the vacation of all alley right-of-way located within Block 7, Shakopee, Scott County, Minnesota |

Staff recommends that the Planning Commission forward a recommendation of approval for the vacation of all alley right-of-way located within Block 7, Shakopee, Scott County, Minnesota. |
| | | | | | | | Discussion:
The Shakopee EDA has acquired or has under all properties in this block. As part of the redevelopment, all utilities will be removed from the current alley and the block will be replatted into one lot. The utilities will be relocated into the adjacent street rights-of-way and all will be underground.
A Public Hearing has been set for August 6. 2019. On that date, comments from staff, utilities, as well as a recommendation from the Planning Commission will be presented to the City Council for consideration. |
