On March 5, 2019 City Council approved Resolution R2019-023 to apply to a 2019 DNR Outdoor Recreation grant in the amount of $250,000. This funding is to be used toward the Ridge Creek Park project. On June 6, 2019, the city received notification of the grant award for the above stated amount. | | |

The Outdoor Recreation grant requires a 50% cash match for the project which is budgeted in the 2019 - 2023 Capital Improvement Plan. | | |
