Shakopee Youth Baseball Association (SYBA) seeks City Council approval of 2 projects that will improve the quality of the experience for ball players at Tahpah and Westminster Parks.  The Shakopee Parks and Recreation Advisory Board voted unanimously to support these SYBA plans.  SYBA seeks approval to have scoreboards professionally installed at West Tahpah and Westminster Parks, with SYBA assuming responsibility for securing necessary financial resources to cover acquisition and installation.  SYBA also seeks approval to have 4 dugouts professionally installed at Westminster Park (2 on each field), with SYBA assuming all acquisition and installation costs. 

SYBA is responsible for all coordination, permitting, compliance and approvals related to these projects.  SYBA has been working with staff to ensure the plans align with current and future intentions for these spaces.

The proposed projects will improve the quality of the experience for all users and builds on Shakopee's reputation as a great place to live and play.
