The City received a donation from Rahr Malting Co. towards the purchase of fire rescue tools & equipment, the value of which is $20,000. This donation is specifically towards the purchase of high angle rescue and rope rescue tools and equipment for the Fire Department.

The City's donation policy requires two-thirds vote to accept cash donations over $1,000 and donations of real property.
