| | | | | | | | Subject: Canterbury Park 11th Addition Final Plat | | |
| | | | | | | | Policy/Action Requested: Approve Resolution No. R2020-027, a resolution approving the final plat of CANTERBURY PARK ELEVENTH ADDITION, and move its adoption. | | |
| | | | | | | | Recommendation: Approve the action requested. | | |
| | | | | | | | Discussion: Canterbury Development, LLC has made application for Final Plat of CANTERBURY PARK ELEVENTH ADDITION. The subject property in totality is approximately 224 acres, and is located North of Eagle Creek Blvd./Hauer Trail, and North & East of Shenandoah Drive.
The plat would provide the necessary public right-of-way for proposed Unbridled Avenue, which would connect Eastway Avenue from the west to Valley Industrial Blvd. S. to the east. The area of the Unbridled Avenue right-of-way would be 9.13 acres, which would be split off several parcels that were platted with CANTERBURY PARK SIXTH and SEVENTH ADDITIONS. If approved, the City and Canterbury will begin construction of this public road in the near future.
City staff and affected utility companies reviewed this proposal, with City Engineering and SPUC providing comments which have been incorporated into the draft Resolution.
