LELS Police Patrol has requested a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to modify their contributions to their health care savings plans (HCSP) from two percent to three percent starting at year two of service.

LELS did not bring this up during contract negotiations and therefore it was not included in the contract.

This MOU does not impact city costs, as HCSP contributions are withheld from the employee's agreed upon wages. The MOU will take effect on May 25, 2020 for all subsequent pay periods.
