Motion to approve the suspension of city code 114.11 Consumption and possession of alcoholic beverages on street, public property, private parking lots to which the public has access, and other private property, allowing the VFW to hold their annual fundraiser. | | |

| | | | | | | | Discussion:
Staff has received a request from Cathy Monnens, manager of the VFW, to fence in part their parking lot on May 20 for their annual fundraiser. No alcohol will be sold outside of their building. The attached map indicates the area to be fenced and will have one 10 x 10 tent. The area will be used by patrons from noon until 10 p.m. No glass containers will be allowed in the fenced area.
Both the Chief of Police and the Fire Marshal have reviewed the request and have no issues granting the suspension of the code. | | |
