Arena Update
The decking around the leisure pool will begin to be poured on Tuesday! The pool company has installed all of the stainless steel cutter and is currently installing the slide. The shallow end of the lap pool has been dug out, rocked and formed for concrete. The contractors have also completed the footings for the pool bump out. The steel structures of the roof are currently being installed. The locker rooms are coming along. Tile is almost complete and the lockers were delivered last week!
The upper level is near completion. The new fitness equipment was installed this last week! Final punch list items are being completed and the public will begin using the new fitness area and fitness studios the week of May 15th (or sooner if possible). The old fitness equipment will be removed on the 15th. The playground is set to be delivered on May 24th and will be completed by June 16th.
The entire project is still on schedule and on budget. The planned completion date is June 30, 2017.
Park Development
Update
Quarry Lake Park
The gazebo is complete and the Parks Department will be installing it soon. The docks are assembled and will be put in the lake soon as well. Staff is working on signage for the park to inform the public that the water of the lake is closed to the public and for the waterski association use only. We will also be installing some other directional signage.

Playground
The donor board is being finalized. We are still hoping for installation at the beginning of June for a grand opening June 4th.
Tahpah Park West
Rachel Contracting has begun the construction of Tahpah Park west baseball field. There is a lot of dirt to be moved. Substantial completion is scheduled for June 16th.
