To approve the extended Saturday work hours through July for safer construction activity during increased weekend activity at Tahpah Park. | | |
| | | | | | | | Discussion:
The contractor of the Tahpah Park West ballfield construction has requested the approval to begin two hours early on Saturdays through July. The substantial completion date is scheduled for July 1, 2017. Approved Saturday work hours begin at 9:00am. Beginning Memorial Day, Tahpah Park is home to a baseball or a softball tournament every weekend until the end of August. Many of the tournaments begin at 8:00am. By allowing work to begin at 7:00am on Saturdays the contractor can get heavy equipment in to the site and start working before the players get to the park. The contractor will utilize the earlier hours only when necessary to complete the project on time. | | |
