Discussion:
Cretex Industrial Park, LLC and Gavilon Fertilizer, LLC, are requesting that the City Council set a public hearing date to consider the application for vacation of public drainage and utility easements as dedicated within Howe 1st Addition, located south of Stagecoach Road at County Hwy. No. 101, as described in the attached Vacation Sketch exhibit.
Cretex Industrial Park, LLC and Gavilon Fertilizer, LLC are proposing a development of a portion of this property that requires a new plat submittal in conjunction with this vacation of public easements. If approved, the new plat will incorporate new public right-of-way and easements consistent with City and utility requirements.
The attached Resolution No. R2021-018 sets a public hearing date of Tuesday, March 16, 2021 to consider the vacation of the public drainage and utility easements. On that date, comments from staff members and utilities, as well as a recommendation from the Planning Commission, will be presented to the City Council for consideration. The Planning Commission will consider the request at its March 4, 2021 meeting.
