General Fund - July 2021 (See attachment)
Revenue Variances (+/- 10% of 58% target)
- Intergovernmental is exceeding budget targets as a result of federal Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery funding from the American Rescue Plan Act.
- Licenses and permits are exceeding the budget amount as a result of building permit revenue received through July.
Expenditure Variances (+/- 10% of 58% target)
- Total expenditures remain below budget target.
- Finance department expenditures are currently exceeding the budget target as a result of the timing of the annual assessment and audit contracts. However, we anticipate ending the year within budget.
- Planning and Development expenditures are currently exceeding the budget target as a result of the purchase of parklets. These parklets will be paid from American Rescue Plan Act Funds.
- Unallocated is below the budget target as a result of unspent contingency funds.
Community Center/Ice Arena/Sand Venture - July 2021 (See attachment)
Sand Venture
- At the end of July, Sand Venture had already exceeded their annual budget expectations for revenues.
Ice Arena
- Revenues are up in comparison to this time last year and close in terms of budget targets. Currently revenues are exceeding expenditures for the year.
Community Center
- Revenues are ahead of the previous year, but below budget targets primarily a result of COVID-19 impacts at the beginning of the year.
