Declare movable property in the 129 Holmes City Hall building as surplus.
Policy/Action Requested:
Declare property remaining in the 129 Holmes Street City Hall building as of August 7, 2017 as surplus and order appropriate sale or disposal.
Recommendation:
Approve policy/action as requested.
Discussion:

There will be a wide range of filing cabinets, desk and cubicle systems, chairs, miscellaneous office furniture, and miscellaneous office items remaining in the City Hall and Engineering building following our move to city hall.  Staff will take appropriate action to sell, donate or dispose of all items.

 

There are several paintings that were painted by Shakopee residents upon the opening of the 129 Holmes building. These paintings will be offered back to the individual who painted them or to the next of kin.

Budget Impact:
Minimal revenue.
