| | | | | | | | Discussion: Sambatek, Inc. applicant, and Shakopee Crossings Limited Partnership, property owner, are requesting that the City Council approve their request for Final Plat of Southbridge Crossings East 5th Addition.
The subject property is approximately 9 acres, and is located east of CSAH 21, west of Crossings Blvd., north of Home Depot, and south of Marcus Southbridge Crossing Cinema, and is zoned B-1 Highway Business Zone with a PUD Overlay.
Shakopee Crossings Limited Partnership is requesting the consideration of the City Council for their Final Plat of Southbridge Crossings East 5th Addition. The proposal consists of two new platted lots (1.87 acres and .93 acres in area), with the balance proposed as an Outlot. The proposed site plan identifies two buildings – Lot 1 with a 7,500 square foot building (future restaurant), and Lot 2 with a 4,000 square foot building (future tenant unknown). The applicant has submitted a Conditional Use Permit for the restaurant on Lot 1, requesting approval to extend hours of operation to 2:00 a.m. That CUP will be reviewed by the BOAA on September 7th. Review of these sites at time of building permit will ensure compliance with all applicable City Code requirements. A draft resolution that includes staff conditions of plat approval is attached for the Council’s consideration and approval.
