| | | | | | | | Discussion:
The Marystown Road Trail project has been approved in the city's 2021 - 2025 CIP (CIF 23-004) and is part of the city's Parks, Trails and Recreation Master Plan. CIF 23-004 is the Marystown RD/TH 169 Interchange & Trail Imp project. The MN DNR LTC Grant funds projects which provide trail linkage immediately available for use by the general public. Trail linkages include connecting where people live (e.g. residential areas within cities, entire communities) and significant public resources (e.g. historical areas, open space, parks and/or other trails).
The maximum amount of funding for the LTC Grant is $150,000. The city will be asking for the maximum grant amount. | | |

The 2021 LTC Grant requires a 25% match. The Marystown Road Trail Project is estimated to cost $584,000. The match amount is budgeted in the city's 2021-2025 CIP in the Capital Improvements Fund. | | |
