The Muenchow Park Trail Rehabilitation Project consists of reconstructing two segments of trail within Muenchow Park adjacent to the ball fields east of the Community Center/Ice Arena (see attached map).
The City solicited bids from three contractors: however, only one bid was received from Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of $54,462.90 (see attached bid tabulation), which was less than the engineer's estimated amount. Northwest Asphalt Inc. has the capacity to perform the work and is considered a responsible bidder based on past experience working with them. | | |

This project is included in the 2017 Park and Recreation Asset Internal Service Fund budget in the amount of $60,000. The project is under budget by 9.2 percent ($5,537.10). | | |
