D.R. Horton, Inc. – Minnesota, applicant, and La Tour Farms LP, property owners, have made application for Final Plat of Outlots of La Tour Terrace. The subject property is located north of CSAH 78, and west of Zumbro Avenue.
The applicant is currently proposing Preliminary Plat approval of Windermere South 5th Addition. This Final Plat consists of the same property as within the 5th Addition, but the applicant has a portion of the property under contract to purchase and is requesting this Final Plat in order to create a separate deedable parcel that they intend to purchase. The second (Outlot) parcel is to be retained by La Tour Farms, with the wish to complete this purchase well in advance of the 5th Addition being submitted for Final Plat review and recording.
Since this property current consists of Outlots, the Final Plat process is the only action available to the applicant. If the property were already platted lots of record, they could have pursued this split via a Minor Subdivision application process.
