Approve Resolution R2021-097, authorizing City staff to take the necessary actions to receive the City's share of Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Funds from the State of Minnesota. | | |

In March 2021, Congress adopted the American Rescue Plan Act which included $65 billion in recovery funds for cities across the county. The City of Shakopee has been allocated approximately $4.3 million (the final amount in currently being determined), which will be distributed through the State of Minnesota. The City will receive half of the allocation in July 2021 and half the allocation in July 2022. | | |
