Discussion:
The Pullman Club was previously approved for a facade loan in 2017 but did not move forward and then the establishment was impacted by COVID closures. Their previous approval by the EDA of $30,000 has since expired.
The Pullman Club is again requesting $30,000 towards the following improvements: new awnings; new windows; new sliding door on the east side of the building; new lighting and painting the building.
The Club will also be adding a new outdoor patio and new roof and they understand these funds cannot be used for these improvements.
They will be more than matching the EDA's amount with their proposed improvements of approximately $116,000. The applicants will need a building permit for any changes to the facade including doors and windows.
Facade loans are a reimbursement agreement so that the EDA reimburses funds once they have been expended.
