A presentation of the Ice Arena construction and Community Center renovation project was given to the City Council on November 7th. The presentation reviewed the project scope, the transformation of the facilities and the current budget status.
The project has been completed and is near close out with a few minor punchlist items yet to be completed. RJM Construction, the construction manager hired to oversee the project, has received final statements from all subcontractors.

The Community Center/Ice Arena project was funding using Tax Abatement Bonds in the amount of $30.4 million dollars. The amount remaining in the bond fund is $582,400.30. The contract balance and outstanding bills yet to be paid total $526,335.52. Escrow being held for the building permit that will be returned to the bond fund upon issuance of final Certificate of Occupancy (waiting on the replacement of 5 trees) totals $130,130.90.
