Discussion:
Randy Kubes, representing Roger and Susan Sames, property owners, has requested the annexation of a 10-acre property at 12495 Marystown Road and the adjacent right-of-way of Marystown Road. The property is currently within Jackson Township and is adjacent to the City of Shakopee. The applicant intends to re-zone the property to R1B, Urban Residential and develop single-family homes on the site.
The proposed annexation is consistent with the Orderly Annexation Agreement language between the City and Jackson Township. If approved, the applicant intends to begin the review process for a rezoning and plat immediately.
