Approve the purchase of a Toro Groundsmaster large area rotary mower from MTI in the amount of $108,800.46. | | |

| | | | | | | | Discussion:
The replacement of the large area rotary mower is included in the 2018 Capital Improvement Plan (see attached information sheet for CIP No. Equip-18-004). The mower is being purchased under the National Joint Powers Agreement (NJPA) Contract No. 062117-TTC. The quotation from MTI is attached and is consistent with the NJPA contract.
The old mower has 2,406 hours and is being evaluated to either be swapped out with an older mower that is used for right-of-way mowing or it will be sold. | | |

The mower replacement is funded in the 2018 CIP under the Equipment Internal Services Fund. The total budget amount per the CIP is $150,000. The purchase amount for the mower is $108,800.46, which is under budget by approximately 27.5 percent. | | |
