Mike Brandt of Kimley-Horn has applied for the vacation of certain drainage and utility easements in Valley Park 15th Addition. The applicant has also applied for a preliminary and final plat on this site. The applicant's plat request is to combine four lots into one lot to allow for the construction of a roughly 104,000 square-foot building. Since the four existing lots have perimeter drainage and utility easements, an easement vacation is required to allow for the construction of a large building that crosses the lot lines / easements of the existing lots. There are no existing utilities in the easements that are proposed to be vacated. 

The Engineering Department and other utility companies reviewed this request and recommend approval of the proposed vacation, provided new easements are dedicated with the proposed plat.
