The Parks, Trails and Recreation Master Plan includes the development of Windermere Neighborhood Park. Two rounds of community engagement were conducted in 2021 resulting in the concept plan for discussion today. 

The site is unique with steep slopes, bluffs, and ponding, creating an opportunity for more nature-based park. The plan includes walking trails, a nature-themed playground, hammocking groves, an immersive nature trail, and an observation tower at the top of the bluff overlooking the Minnesota River Valley.
