Mark Kronbeck of Alliant Engineering has applied to vacate a public drainage and utility easement on Lot 1, Block 1 of Dean Lakes Eighth Addition. The easement in question was dedicated in 2012 for a public watermain loop around the proposed Trystar building for fire protection purposes. Since the Trystar building will not be constructed and the site is currently for sale, the property owner has requested that the easement be vacated to allow for greater flexibility for a future user. 

Utility companies and city departments have reviewed this request and all recommend approval, since there are no public utilities in the easement. If a public easement is needed for a future development, it will be dedicated at the time of development and be tailored to the future development.
