Recently, the city has received several parking related complaints along both Maras Street and Hansen Avenue. Property and business owners have stated that semis parking along the roadways cause operational and safety issues for vehicles entering and exiting private property. Parked vehicles block sight lines and restrict turning movements. 

The Traffic Safety Committee reviewed the request and confirmed that parking issues exist in the area. The Traffic Safety Committee recommends that a no parking zone be implemented along Maras Street and Hansen Avenue. The signs will be designed and installed with the street reconstruction project.
