Adopt Resolution R2022-042 establishing polling places for the coming year as required by law.

Adopt O2022-007 amending city code Chapter 2, Section 32.01 Precinct Boundaries

State Statute 204B.14, subd. 3 (d) requires that precinct boundaries must be reestablished within 60 days of when the legislature has been redistricted or at least 19 weeks before the state primary election, whichever comes first.

In 2022, the City of Shakopee has determined that two additional precincts should be included within the boundaries to accommodate for Shakopee growth. Shakopee will have 15 polling locations for City resident's as determined by the location of the resident's home address on file with the Minnesota Secretary of State's office:

• Precinct 1 - West Middle School, 200 Tenth Avenue East
• Precinct 2 - Pearson School, 917 Dakota Street South
• Precinct 3 - Fire Station #1, 2700 Vierling Drive East
• Precinct 4 - Red Oak Elementary School, 7700 Old Carriage Court
• Precinct 5 - Lions Park Youth Bldg., 1099 Adams Street South
• Precinct 6 - Community Center, 1255 Fuller Street South
• Precinct 7 - First Presbyterian Church, 909 Marschall Road
• Precinct 8 - Police Station, 475 Gorman Street
• Precinct 9A - Faith Lutheran Church, 150 130th Street W
• Precinct 9B - Faith Lutheran Church, 150 130th Street W
• Precinct 10 - East Middle School, 1137 Marschall Road
• Precinct 11 - Sun Path Elementary School, 2250 17th Avenue East
• Precinct 12A - Eagle Creek Elementary School, 6855 Woodward Avenue
• Precinct 12B - Eagle Creek Elementary School, 6855 Woodward Avenue
• Precinct 13 - Friendship Church, 12800 Marystown Road
• Precinct 14 - Cross  of Peace Lutheran Church, 1506 Wood Duck Trail
• Absentee - Shakopee City Hall, 485 Gorman Street
