Temporary Liquor Licenses for the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce Rhythm on the Rails event being held Wednesdays starting June 22 through August 3.

Approve Temporary Liquor Licenses for the Shakopee Chamber of Commerce Rhythm on the Rails event being held Wednesdays starting June 22 through August 3.
Recommendation:
Approve the above motion.
Discussion:

The Shakopee Chamber of Commerce has applied for temporary on-sale liquor licenses for the annual Rhythm on the Rails series being held Wednesdays starting June 22 through August 3, 2022.

 

The applications for the event and liquor licenses are in order. They are requesting that Council suspend City Code 114.11(A) Consumption and possession on public streets, property and the like, to allow patrons to drink on Lewis Street. Patrons will be carded and given a wristband to purchase alcohol.
