It has been 50 years since Shakopee High School fielded their first hockey team.  John Schroers played on that first high school team in 1972, and has come froward with a donation of framed set of photos from that first team.  He is also donating a framed hockey jersey from one of those early teams.

Mr. Schroers has been a fantastic partner for Shakopee Parks and Recreation.  He framed the photos of the 2019 and 2020 "Show-Off Shakopee" photo contest winners, to be displayed in the Community Room hallway of the Shakopee Community Center, and is the "go-to" person for all of our framing and hanging needs.
