The Committee is asked to discuss events for 2018. Below is a list of possible events for the committee to participate in. Committee members may discuss the addition or subtraction of events.
- Bike Rodeo: There has been interest from the Police Department in holding a large Bike Rodeo at 17th Ave Sports Complex. The 17th Avenue Sports Complex is available Saturdays after 3 pm, or on Sundays except on May 20, July 8, July 15, and July 22.
- Wheelies Event at Huber Park. In the past the Committee has helped with the auction and had an information booth.
- Ice Cream Rides / Social Rides: The committee may plan a specific date or dates well in advance to allow for promotion.
- Rhythm on the Rails: Rhythm on the Rails is again returning to Downtown. The Committee could sponsor and staff a Bike Corral, or have an informational booth.
- Meeting on the Road. This has been done a couple times in summer months to showcase recent projects and also areas that need improvement.
- Other event ideas brought up by Committee Members.
