| | | | | | | | Subject: Resolution R2022-0126, approving State of Minnesota Joint Powers Agreements with the City of Shakopee on behalf of its City Prosecutor and Police Department | | |
| | | | | | | | Policy/Action Requested: Adopt Resolution R2022-126. | | |
| | | | | | | | Recommendation: Adopt Resolution R2022-126. | | |
| | | | | | | | Discussion: The city's current Joint Powers Agreement and Court Subscriber Agreements with the state on behalf of its Prosecuting Attorney are expired. The city desires to renew the JPA and Court Subscriber Agreements with the state of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety, and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. This gives the department access to use systems and tools available over the state's criminal justice communications network for which the city is eligible. Council has adopted similar Resolutions in the past. | | |
