Subject:
Declare forfeited vehicles and a speed display trailer as surplus property. 
Policy/Action Requested:
Declare two forfeited vehicles and the police departments speed display trailer as surplus property and authorize disposal.  
Recommendation:
Approve policy/action as requested.
Discussion:

The vehicles were obtained through successful forfeiture proceedings and are described as follows:

 

  1. 2004 Honda Accord, VIN:1HGCM56684A087609
  2. 2009 Honda Accord, VIN:1HGCP36859A004769

 

The speed display trailer was purchased in 2003. It has reached the end of its useful life and deemed unrepairable. 

 

The vehicles will be sold at auction and the proceeds will be distributed according to Minnesota State Statute.
