Planning Commission has review the proposed modified Redevelopment Plan and the proposed TIF Plan and compare them with the general plan for development of the City as a whole. |

| | | | | | | | Discussion:
State Statues require that the Planning Commission review proposed Redevelopment TIF to ensure that they are in keeping with the planned growth for the city. The redevelopment of Canterbury has been planned since the 2008 Comprehensive Plan and been talked about with the Planning Commission and City Council for a number of years. The proposed redevelopment will create a more urban, mixed use community that will also continue to support the entertainment use. |
