Omar Karshe has applied to vacate a 5-foot-wide portion of a platted drainage and utility easement on the west side of his lot at 7006 Oak Ridge Court (see attached exhibit). Mr. Karshe has also applied for a minor subdivision to subdivide his lot to allow for the construction of a single-family house approximately the same size as his existing house. The proposed vacation would allow for more flexibility in the design of a future house on the proposed new lot. Both of the proposed lots meet the required design standards of the R1B zone. 

The proposed vacation request will be reviewed by the Planning Commission on December 8th and the public hearing / review by the City Council is scheduled for December 20th.
