On February 16, 2021, City Council authorized the execution of a professional services agreement with WSB and Associates for the design and construction administration services for the TH 169 Pedestrian Bridge Project CIF-22-002. On January 4, 2022, City Council received the updated pedestrian bridge aesthetic plan and the MnDOT approved bridge layout.

Plans have been prepared and are ready to solicit public bids for the improvements. Upon approval, the advertising and bidding will commence with a bid award scheduled for February 7, 2023. Construction of the improvements is expected to start approximately March 2023 and be completed by fall 2023.
