Discussion:
- The Ice Arena Staff will start the ice out process in rink 2 on March 5th, 2018. This Process will take a couple days to complete and be ready to install Turf. Public works has decided to help with this process.
- Turf will be fully installed and ready for rentals on March 12th.
- 180 hours of private turf rentals have already been contracted to the following groups: Shakopee Youth LAX Association, Frog LAX, River Valley LAX, Twin Cities LAX.
- Open Turf time will be added to the events schedule on: Monday-Friday’s 12-2pm, Thursday nights 4pm-6pm and Sunday mornings 9am-11am.
- With the added turf time on rink 2 Staff will push all ice rentals/programs over to rink 1.
- Private turf rental rates are $85/hr
