The Shakopee Chamber has submitted a special event application requesting to close First Avenue between Holmes Street and Lewis Street from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm for their Bock Party.
Shakopee Brewhall and the Shakopee Chamber & Visitors Bureau are hosting Bock Party in Downtown Shakopee to celebrate beer and all the fun options that the Brewhall has to offer. Attendees will enjoy live music, beer poking, and limited-edition beer options available only for the day. There will be an outdoor vendor marketplace in conjunction with this open street event.
They will be doing the Bock Party in which they poke beer with a hot stainless-steel rod. The event will be on March 25th from Noon until 6:00 pm. The request with a picture of the layout is attached. All alcohol will be sold within the Shakopee Brewhall. Also patrons will not be allowed to take the beer outside of the fenced area as depicted on the attached picture.
The Police Department and the Planning Department have no issues with this event.
