Approve Resolution R2023-017 accepting monetary donation of $1000.00 from Shakopee Soccer Association.
Recommendation:
Approve Resolution R2023-017 accepting monetary donation of $1000.00 from Shakopee Soccer Association.
Discussion:

The City has received a monetary donation from Shakopee Soccer Association in the amount of $1000.00.  This donation will be used to offset the cost of replacement soccer nets on various soccer fields with our park system.

 

The City of Shakopee appreciates the generosity of Shakopee Soccer Association and their continued support of park maintenance operations.

 

The City's donation policy requires a 2/3 vote to accept cash donations over $1000.00 and donations of real property.

 

Budget Impact:
The donation will be used to offset the cost of replacement nets from the parks maintenance budget.
