The DOJ COPS LEMHW grant offers funding to improve the delivery of and access to mental health and wellness services for law enforcement officers through the implementation of peer support, training, family resources, suicide prevention, and other promising practices for wellness. The Shakopee Police Department currently operates the Check-up from the Neck Up program. This grant funding would be used to strengthen and expand the current program. | | |
