On February 20, 2018, a public improvement hearing was held and Resolution R2018-015 was approved by City Council ordering the 2018 Street and Utility Reconstruction Project. The project includes the reconstruction of Shakopee Avenue from Market Street to Marschall Road, Minnesota Street from 10th Avenue to Shakopee Avenue, and Dakota Street from 10th Avenue to Shakopee Avenue.

Plans have been prepared as directed and are ready to solicit public bids to construct the improvements. Upon approval, the advertising and bidding will commence with a scheduled bid opening of approximately April 5, 2018. Bids would then be considered at the April 17, 2018 City Council meeting. Construction of the improvements will be performed between May and September of 2018.
