The Age-Friendly MN grant is focusing on Senior Resiliency, providing funding to create an outdoor space at the Community Center where Seniors can participate in outdoor programming activities such as gardening and gather more comfortably while sitting at fixed outdoor tables with backed chairs. Additionally, the grant is providing funds for the Parks and Recreation staff to develop a gardening class, to purchase storage for gardening supplies, and for the City Clerk’s office to purchase a large locking ballot box and ballot bags for their Senior Voting Initiative. | | |
