On December 19, 2017 the City Council approved Resolution No. 7960 to approve the annexation of 10 acres of property from Jackson Township at 12495 Marystown Road.

City staff have been working with the State of MN Office of Administrative Hearings on this annexation and the revised Orderly Annexation Agreement with Jackson Township. In order for this annexation to be processed under the new annexation agreement as intended, the date of the resolution must be revised to be at least 10 days after the publication of the new agreement. The new agreement was published in the Shakopee Valley News on February 17, 2018.

This request is to replace Resolution No. 7960 with a resolution that reflects the new agreement and with a different date.
