Discussion:
Staff was directed to draft an ordinance amending certain penalties for tobacco and liquor violations and to mail notices to tobacco license holders advising of the proposed changes.
The increase to the fees were due to the inflation costs and the increase of administrative costs in compliance checks and license failures. The fees have not been looked at since 2009.
The attached ordinance repeals Section 110.999 paragraph C and adds Section 110.069 under Chapter 110 Tobacco, Tobacco Products, and Tobacco-related devices. It also amends Section 114.99 of the liquor penalties.
