The property owner at 930 Main Street South had a survey of their lot performed for a fence permit application. It was discovered during this process that the alley encroached on a corner of their property. Relocating the alley is not possible as the right of way is too narrow for vehicles to navigate safely.
The City needs to acquire approximately 250 square feet of property to allow for continued use of the alley. The price of $5,661.84 was achieved through a negotiation with the property owner. | | |
